Congrats Grad!

I made this cross stitch for a sister here who graduated from college. I will call her Sis. C. ( I blanked out her name on the cross stitch too, you know, the whole privacy thing)
I couldn't have taken on what she did.
While going to school she still had daily life to deal with not to mention other stuff too. They moved, started a buisness, made sure their kids were at their activities that they participate in, helped out family & brethren when needed. The list could go on & on.
Congradulations Sis. C. Like my son said, I think you will be a great teacher!!!!

A sad day

Last Wednesday was a sad day for my family. We had to say goodbye to one of our beloved dogs. His name was Woody. He was 14 years old. As a puppy he was a rich dark red color. When he got older he turned into a lighter shade of red. In his last years of life he started to go bald. He also lost his eye sight & hearing. I know there a some who don't understand how people can get attached to animals but I certainly do. This was one of the hardest things I've had to do in a long time. He's not the first dog I've had to put down, & at that, it still wasn't very easy to do. As with my other dog, I held him as he went to sleep. I'm not sure what was harder to bear, watching him go or watching my children grieve.

Happy May Day

When I was growing up Grandma use to make up handful size bouquets of flowers she had growing outside & we would take them to the neighbors houses (we only had about 4). Every May 1st I think of that. I've always meant to carry on with that tradition but I never seem to be on it quick enough.

Here's my May Day Bouquet to all that read today.

Happy May Day!!! Spring is coming!!!
